On December 4, 2020, PASS hosted a two-part public conversation during the International Biennial Association (IBA)’s annual General Assembly. These sessions extend the conversations begun in the publication, underscoring our aim to engage with ideas over time, with care, and across formats.

Moderated by Anne Barlow and Bige Örer, the first panel brought together three PASS contributors–curator Claire Tancons, artist Maria Thereza Alves, and theorist Zairong Xiang–to explore the role of narrative in pedagogy as well as the connections between storytelling and solidarity.
